Hannah Hurnard graciously shares her journey to faith in Jesus as her Savior. She is very transparent in her account and this is encouraging for anyone who has struggled to beleive. Her humble obedience is inspiring especially in her years and adventures in Israel. What a journey this sister in Christ has had. What a marvelous gift that she leaves to fellow believers with all her writings.
This old saint teaches you how to do what the scripture says. It is a great book with simple directions and she share her life in her own learning. I do hear His voice and I do obey Him. I have a question what about you. Buy it and start learning what you have been missing by the lack of true teaching from the churches. All that is said here is truth from the Scriptures.
this autobiographical book traces Hannah's development from her own heart, filled with hate toward people to a heart that had been changed to be able to love,even when not loved back.
This is one of my all time favorite books. Hannah beautifully portrays in this book how we all can hear God’s voice if we are willing to listen
Hannah's story is an excellent "God story" about her transformation by grace and His faithfulness over many years of struggle and service. The years in Palestine alone are worth the price of the book, but she has a depth much like Oswald Chambers in dealing with the real issues of life.
